Our Story
Moving to a new country was exciting, adventurous, and without a doubt, one of the best times of our lives. The housing market has had a drastic change since Covid days, and due to the repeal of most restrictions in the country, many people have taken the opportunity to finally live out one of their dreams: Moving here!
While this is great, it has had a deep impact on the challenge of finding housing.
After experiencing the struggle ourselves, we came up with the idea of a service that helps international individuals find housing !
Our main goal is to help Madrid's newest residents with this stressful process and seamlessly find their own Cozy Casa!
Meet the Team
Project Manager
Sofia Bartolome
Sofia Bartolome, project manager of Cozy Casa, is a San Diego State University graduate with a major in Business Management and a specialization in Entrepreneurship. Living in Madrid, Sofia combined her passion for travel, connecting with people, and aiding others to establish Cozy Casa.
Her experience as an English teacher for two years influenced her dedication to supporting international individuals in finding housing, having personally navigated the same challenges. Sofia is committed to making the process seamless and welcoming for clients seeking a home abroad.
Marketing Coordinator & Sales Representative
Alex Ygoña
Meet Alex Ygoña. A proud Filipino, she has been living in Madrid for eight years and loves helping others do the same. With a background in Psychology from De La Salle University, she has always been drawn to understanding people—what makes them tick, what they dream of, and what they call home.
Later, Alex earned a Master’s in ICT in Education from the Universidad de Alcalá—a natural next step for someone who has always been an internet kid. Social media, tech, and digital spaces are her playground.
Today, she brings these two passions together. Alex listens, connects, and uses her online know-how to help people cut through the noise and find their cozy casa right here in Madrid.
